1.mPassport
Passport Seva Project, being executed by Consular, Passport and Visa (CPV) division of the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), Government of India, aims at providing all the Passport-related services to the Indian Citizens in a speedy, convenient and transparent manner. This is one of the largest projects of the Government of India under the National e-Governance Plan (NeGP) being executed in public-private-partnership mode with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) as the private partner. The project is already operational and servicing citizens through 77 Passport Seva Kendras across India.
MEA with a view to provide mobile enablement of public services, has launched a Mobile Application ‘mPassport Seva’ to offer a wide variety of services to smartphone users such as Passport application status tracking, locating the Passport Seva Kendra (PSK) and general information on various steps involved in obtaining a Passport.
2.mAadhaar
mAadhaar is official mobile application developed by Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) to provide an interface to Aadhaar Number Holders to carry their demographic information viz. Name, Date of Birth, Gender & Address along with photograph as linked with their Aadhaar Number in smart phones.
Key Features:
1. Aadhaar Number Holder profile download – A convenient way to carry Aadhaar number with demographic details anytime, anywhere.
2. Biometric locking/unlocking – To secure biometric authentication by locking biometrics data. Once resident enables Biometric Locking system their biometric remains locked till the Aadhaar Holder chose to either Unlock it (which is temporary) or Disable the Locking system.
3. TOTP generation – Time-based One-Time Password is an automatically generated temporary password which can be used instead of SMS based OTP.
4. Update of profile – An updated view of Aadhaar profile data after successful completion of update request.
5. Sharing of QR code and eKYC data by Aadhaar Number holder – Share QR code and password protected eKYC data to retrieve accurate demographic information from it instead of manual entry.
Note for Users:
Registered Mobile Number is essential to use mAadhaar app. In case your mobile number is not registered with Aadhaar visit the nearest Enrolment Centre/Mobile Update End Point.
Usage Guidelines:
1. Application will ask for password as soon as it is opened as the first step after confirming consent. User should enter a password containing only numbers and of length 4 e.g. 1234
2. Aadhaar profile can be downloaded only on mobile devices having registered mobile number (Registered mobile number is the mobile number linked with your Aadhaar)
3. Please do not navigate from application if it is waiting for SMS. mAadhaar will automatically read the OTP once it is received.
4. There is no provision to manually enter the OTP anywhere in mAadhaar. This is a security feature.
5. mAadhaar needs to connect and download data from UIDAI.So ensure that internet connectivity is available on your phone.
6. One Aadhaar profile can be active on only one device at a time. If you create profile on another device by inserting the sim in another device, the previous profile would become inactive and would be deleted from older device whenever any operation is attempted from that device.
7. If members of your family have the same mobile number registered as you in their Aadhaar, you can add their profile in your device.
8. A user can add maximum 3 profiles in his device, all having same mobile number registered in their Aadhaar.
3.Postinfo
Postinfo - Department Posts Android Mobile Application
Postinfo, the citizen centric android Mobile application of Department of Posts developed by Centre for Excellence in Postal Technology .The app provides the following facilities;

Citizens can participate in policy formulation and program implementation to usher in an era of direct participatory democracy.
5.Myspeed (TRAI)
This application allows you to measure your data speed experience and sends the results to TRAI. The application captures and sends coverage, data speed and other network information along with device and location of the tests. The app does not send any personal user information. All results are reported anonymously. While this application gives TRAI details of your data experience, sending a report to TRAI does not constitute a complaint. In case of poor experience, users are requested to register a complaint with their network service providers.

6.M Kavach
M-Kavach is a comprehensive mobile device security solution for Android devices addressing various threats related to mobile phones. It addresses threats related to misuse of resources such as WiFi, Bluetooth, Camera and Mobile Data
by preventing unauthorized access to these resources and protects against JavaScript Malware. Users can restrict the access to critical applications like mobile wallets, social media apps etc and also block unwanted Calls and SMS. It also helps the users in tracking SIM changes on the device in case of device loss/theft and provides an option to remotely wipe Contacts/Call-Logs and Factory Reset the device. This app uses the Device Administrator permission for performing factory reset operation incase of device loss/theft
7.Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan
Swachh Bharat Mission is a mass movement for cleanliness launched on 2nd October 2014 by the Prime Minister of India. The Swachhta Abhiyan has turned into a National Movement with citizens now becoming active participants in cleanliness activities across the nation. The dream of a ‘Clean India’ once seen by Mahatma Gandhi is being realized with millions of people across the country joining the cleanliness initiatives of the government departments, NGOs and local community centres to make India clean as a part of this ‘Jan Andolan’.
8.BHIM
Bharat Interface for Money (BHIM) is an initiative to enable fast, secure, reliable cashless payments through your mobile phone. BHIM is interoperable with other Unified Payment Interface (UPI) applications, & bank accounts for quick money transfers online. BHIM is developed by the National Payment Corporation of India (NPCI) as a part of the Digital India initiative. BHIM is made in India and dedicated to the service of the nation.
What can I do with BHIM?
BHIM works on Unified Payments Interface (UPI), which is a revolutionary payments platform. The features of BHIM are as follows:-
• Access all bank accounts in one app
• Pay to friends & relatives using their mobile number. (Provided they are on BHIM/UPI)
• Pay to any user using any UPI application.
• Shop online and checkout using “Pay by UPI/BHIM” for a quick and seamless experience.
• Request money from any UPI user.
• Scan a QR and pay on the fly.
• Check account balance and pay via Aadhaar number.
How does it work?
Register your bank account with BHIM, & set a UPI PIN for the bank account. Your mobile number is your Payment Address, & you can simply start transacting. Yes! It is that simple.
How to Transfer Money Online?
Make Cashless Payments or receive money from friends, family and customers through a mobile number or payment address. Instant Money Transfer can also be made to an unregistered user using Mobile number, Account number +IFSC and Aadhaar Number.
