Iphone X with Dual sim. Coming Soon!!

IPhones, a technology giant Apple release, has a good craze across the world. Apple releases its iPhones by adding new technology to users taste . But the price is slightly higher. So many people in India who want to buy mid-range range of mobile are approaching other brands. Another reason for the lack of dual sim is in the models. According to the latest news, the Apple company is going to bring a "iPhone X" phone. The price of 'iPhone X' is only half of the price. It's also a dual sim.

The 6.1 inch LCD screen is designed to make two variants on the mobile. The single SIM and the dual sim is available. However, Apple will have to use the E-SIM model. The dual SIM model is going to be designed with a 6.5 inch screen. The single SIM phone is priced at 550 to 650 dollars, and the Dual SIM is priced at $ 750. This phone is expected to be released in the second quarter of 2018.

Apple has also grown iPhone gains for Apple. Apple accounted for 35% of mobile handsets in fourth quarter of 2017. IPhone X has earned five times the highest margin compared to other Android mobile phones.

Instagram is testing Direct, a messaging app that replaces the current inbox

Instagram is testing a standalone app for private messages called Direct, a first step toward possibly toward removing messaging features from the core app. Direct, which opens to the camera in the same way Snapchat does, will become available on Android and iOS today in six countries: Chile, Israel, Italy, Portugal, Turkey, and Uruguay. If you install Direct, the inbox disappears from the Instagram app and can only be accessed in the messaging app. If Instagram introduces Direct globally — it currently has no timeline for doing so — the move could give parent company Facebook a third popular messaging tool alongside Messenger and WhatsApp.
                                                         CLICK TO DOWNLOAD

Although it is officially only a test, Instagram’s rationale for building Direct app is that private messaging can never be a best-in-class experience when it lives inside an app meant for broadcasting publicly. “We want Instagram to be a place for all of your moments, and private sharing with close friends is an important part of that,” Hemal Shah, an Instagram product manager, told me. “Direct has grown within Instagram over the past four years, but we can make it even better if it stands on its own. We can push the boundaries to create the fastest and most creative space for private sharing when Direct is a camera-first, standalone app.”
If that sounds familiar, it’s because Facebook has undertake a transition like this before. In 2014, the company shut off messaging inside the flagship app, forcing users to download Messenger. “On mobile, each app can only focus on doing one thing well,” CEO Mark Zuckerberg said at the time. “Asking folks to install another app is a short term painful thing, but if we wanted to focus on serving this [use case] well, we had to build a dedicated and focused experience.”
Direct was built according to similar logic. While direct messaging was originally an afterthought in Instagram, after multiple redesigns it had accumulated 375 million monthly users by April of this year, the company says. Its rise has coincided with the growth of Instagram stories, which encourage users to fire back quick replies to friends’ messages by adding a “send message” box underneath each one.
Now Instagram will see whether its tools for private messages can thrive on their own. There is reason to believe that they will: messaging apps have more aggregate users than social networks do, and some have speculated that growing cultural tensions are pushing more conversations from public forums to private groups. If messaging becomes a large, pseudo-independent pillar of Instagram, it could further entrench the app in the lives of its users while opening up significant new business opportunities.

Microsoft's 1 crore challenge to IT professionals

Microsoft introduces well to the world. Three Microsoft products are already used by every 5 in the world. The windows 7 operating system did not impress any os following. Windows 7 was followed by Windows 8, 8.1, and 10. Windows 8, 8.1 does not go as far as the population is concerned.

Within a short time, Windows 10 was brought into the market. Microsoft poses a big challenge to IT professionals. Microsoft's Windows-10 operating system software has been identified and reported in advance by its official blog to pay a $ 2,50,000 US dollars.
Microsoft is not the first to offer such a offer, but has also offered many times in the past. This offer also has a deadline. As of November 13, their software is to be found in Windows 10.

Is Facebook "Thumbs Down" (Dislike) button is on its way?

One of the most requested features for Facebook could be moving a step closer to reality.
A new thumbs down emoji is one of a range of 'reactions' that have appeared on the Messenger app of some users of the site.
The apparent testing of the new feature fits with long-running speculation that a similar function for the main site may also be on the way.
The options include both a thumbs-up and thumbs-down icon, as well as symbols for love, laughter, shock, sadness and anger.

“We are always testing ways to make Messenger more fun and engaging. This is a small test where we enable people to share an emoji that best represents their feelings on a message”.
This first approachment to the possible change to come, added, to the five traditional icons we already know, a thumb down, which may be the closest we, Facebook users, will ever get to the acclaimed “dislike” button. However, the social media company sees this mythical Reaction more as a “no” button.
The app will show an emoji icon next to the bubble chat. The users will be able to decide between a “Love,” “Haha,” “Wow,” “Sad,” “Angry,” “Like” or thumbs-down. One of these can appear next to a message and let the other person understand, faster, how they feel about what it is being said.

Although tests are running, news are being shaken for the scoop, and people are already crazy of excitement, there’s still no guarantee we’ll be able to see the new feature this year, or ever. If we are being honest with ourselves, we are not completely sure calling an emoji on a private conversation counts accurately as a “Dislike button.”
At any rate, Facebook refers to the whole operation as a “small test,” and it seems they are not committed to a launch anytime soon -assuming, of course, the experiment goes forward. But, keeping in mind the huge success the Reactions had last year, and how much our hater hearts want to express how much they do not like an idea, we remain confident and hopeful to see this eventually.

Mobdro A secreat app not on playstore

Mobdro app:

Mobdro is an app to stream movies, TV shows, documentaries, sports, and other content on your Android. However, it works differently from most similar apps. The reason is that with Mobdro, you don't choose what movie or episode you want to watch; instead, you choose a channel.

In a lot of apps for watching movies and series online, you can choose the exact episode or movie you want to watch at any time. With Mobdro, it's not like that. Instead, you have an enormous list of channels that show nonstop episodes or movies.

In addition to the TV show and movie channels, Mobdro also offers streaming of traditional TV channels as well as sporting events. You can even access some rather strange streams, like live videos of animals or people playing video games.

Mobdro is an interesting alternative to the huge number of apps available for watching content online, mainly because of the margin of surprise it entails. In the mood for a scary movie? All right, but you don't know which one until you start watching it. It's almost like flipping though the channels on a normal TV!
Mobdro is a very solid live tv android app that has been around for quite some time. It has some of the best channels, and also includes a 24/7 movies section.

Brand New Motorola Moto M set to launch in india

Lenovo is bringing another phone to the Indian market from its Moto department next week on Tuesday. Soon after the phone was launched in China last month with a price tag of CNY 1,999, the company teased its launch in India on its Moto India twitter handle.
Interestingly, the phone sports a full metal unibody design and is water resistant like the Moto G4 and G4 plus. The design is also quite similar with a rounded back and a 5.5 inch Full HD display in front; the same Octa core snapdragon 617 chipset and 3000mAh battery. So the major difference then remains with the fingerprint sensor placement.

This may have come in response to many Moto fans and critics who pointed out that front button is a useless addition when on-screen home and back keys are the given way of navigation. It is like a home button that you can't press and that is annoying at times. Then there was the plastic build, both on Moto G4 and G4 Plus that became a fodder for further analysis.
Motorola (yeah Lenovo) fixes these things with Moto M. It had to be announced in India. The fingerprint sensor is placed at the back, the build is all metal (and water resistant), the RAM is upgraded to 3GB/4GB and the storage to 32GB/64GB. Then, there is a higher resolution 16megapixel camera in the rear with 1micrometer pixel size. It almost enters the Moto Z league.Though, hinting from the China price, the Moto M will also carry a bigger price tag. And that also kind of jeopardizes the pricing of Lenovo smartphones that always manage to carry heftier specs. The Lenovo Z2 having Snapdragon 820 would actually cost the same.
That said however, Moto phones grab an edge over its Lenovo counterparts by offering clean stock interface and water resistance with a curvier design. Like you, we are eagerly waiting for the new (read old) Moto design to rise from the ashes, in metal.
As expected, Motorola has sent out media invites for a launch event in Mumbai on December 13, where it will be launching the Moto M. The invite comes with a tagline, “Mesmerizing, masterful, majestic (just like you),” followed by a sketch of a smartphone’s back panel. The pill-shaped camera module and the circular fingerprint scanner is all the evidence we require to guess that the upcoming smartphone is the Moto M.
The Moto M was launched in China last month, and it boasts a metal unibody design. It is also among the first Motorola smartphones where the fingerprint scanner is placed at the back. Another talking point of the smartphone is the built-in Dolby ATMOS support, and the nano coating that can save the phone from an accidental splash of water.

Moto M price

The Moto M is available in China with a price tag of RMB 1,999, which roughly translates to Rs 19,700. If the Lenovo-owned company were to stick to this price segment, the Moto M would face competition from the likes of the Honor 8 Smart and the Xiaomi Mi 5 to name a few.

Moto M specifications

The Moto M features a 5.5-inch full HD (1920×1080 pixels) display with 2.5D curved glass. Under the hood runs a MediaTek Helio P15 quad-core processor clocked at 2.2GHz and paired with Mali T860MP2 GPU and 4GB of RAM. There is 32GB onboard storage on offer, which can be expanded up to 256GB using a microSD card.
For photography, the Moto M is equipped with a 16-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, dual-tone LED flash and PDAF support, while up front, there is an 8-megapixel selfie camera. The smartphone also features a 3,050mAh battery with Turbo Charging support, and connectivity options like dual-SIM support (hybrid setup), 4G with VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS, USB Type-C port, NFC, and 3.5mm audio jack. On the software front, the smartphone runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, but is expected to soon be updated to Android Nougat.
Moto M, the metal-clad smartphone that was unveiled last month in China, will be launched in India on Tuesday. Lenovo, the parent company of Motorola, has started sending out media invites for an event on Tuesday where the company will hold the Moto M India launch. The company had earlier teased the launch of the smartphone's India launch, but has said nothing about the official Moto M release date.
The first all-metal Moto smartphone, the Moto M price in India is expected to be around Rs. 20,000 considering it was launched in China at CNY 1,999 (roughly Rs. 19,700).
Apart from sporting an all-metal body, the Moto M features antenna bands running on the top and bottom edges at the back. The new Moto M runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and features a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) 2.5D IPS display with a pixel density of 401ppi. Moto M is powered by a 64-bit MediaTek Helio P15 processor clocked at 2.2GHz coupled with 4GB of LPDDR3 RAM. It packs 32GB inbuilt storage and supports expandable storage via microSD card (up to 128GB). The dual-SIM Moto smartphone features a hybrid dual-SIM slot, which means it supports a Micro-SIM or microSD card in the second SIM slot.
Moto M sports a 16-megapixel rear camera with dual-LED flash, an f/2.0 aperture, and supports PDAF (phase detection autofocus). It also sports an 8-megapixel front sensor. The Moto M smartphone is backed by a 3050mAh battery, and also comes with support for fast charging. Much like several Moto smartphones, the Moto M also comes with splash proof design (or nano-coating) which means it can bear light rain splashes. The handset supports 4G with VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C (USB 3.1), NFC, and 3.5mm connectivity options.Following a teaser on Twitter, Lenovo-owned Motorola has now sent out press invites to an event scheduled on December 13 in Mumbai. It is expected that Motorola will announce the launch of the Moto M, as it also has a blurred image on the invite which says Moto M. The media invite says, “Mesmerizing, masterful, majestic (just like you)”, and has a blurred picture of the rear end of the Moto M. The smartphone went on sale in China in November. Motorola Moto M is a very different smartphone from the company and has no resemblance to the last device, Moto Z lineup. The device has a metal boy and the edges are round. The antenna lines are at the top and bottom. Motorola, for the first time, has introduced the fingerprint scanner at the rear end, the smartphones generally have a square fingerprint scanner added on the front.
The smartphone might just be among the most powerful devices among the mid-range devices. It has a 5.5-inch FHD screen with a resolution of 1920×1080 and a 2.5 D curved glass. Moto M features a MediaTek Helio P15 quad-core processor along with 4Gb of RAM and an internal memory of 32GB, expandable up to 256GB using a microSD card. The new smartphone contains a 16 MP camera at the back with f.2.0 aperture, PDAF support and dual tone flash. For selfies, an 8MP camera is present. The battery is of 3050mAh and has Turbo Charging technology support which is a common feature among Motorola devices. The phone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box and has 4G support.
Moto M comes with a 16-megapixel rear-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture, dual tone flash, PDAF and Dolby Audio support. The front is dominated by an 8-megapixel shooter. The 3050mAh battery supports Turbo Charging technology like other Motorola phone. The 4G LTE smartphone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box. The device is totally water and dust proof.
The price has not been announced yet, but it will be an interesting thing to wait for. According to reports, the phone will be priced at Rs 18,000. In that case, when it is launched on December 13, it will have to compete with certain smartphones which have the faster Snapdragon processors, in the range.

Airtel Offers Unlimited Voice Calls to Anywhere in India

Airtel on Thursday announced the launch of two new bundled prepaid packs circle that make free voice calls across the country, along with data benefits. These Airtel free voice calling packs come soon after Reliance Jio extended its Welcome Offer providing free voice calls, data, text messages and other services free by another 3 months, calling it the Jio Happy New Year Offer. Airtel has provided pricing for the Delhi circle, and says pricing of the prepaid packs may vary from circle to circle.

Airtel's new unlimited voice calling packs

The new Rs. 345 pack by Airtel allows prepaid customers to make free voice calls, both local and STD, to any network in India. Along with this, buyers of the Rs. 345 Airtel prepaid pack will get 1GB of 4G data. For mobile phones “ideally suited for Web surfing and accessing light social media applications,” the Rs. 345 Airtel pack offers an additional 50MB of data.
On the other hand, the Rs. 145 Airtel prepaid pack provides customers unlimited calls across India, but only to other Airtel users. This Airtel pack comes with 300MB of data for 4G-ready smartphones, and 50MB of data for basic mobile phones that can access the Internet and light social media apps. Both the Rs. 345 and Rs. 145 Airtel prepaid packs have a validity of 28 days.

Prices of Airtel unlimited voice calling packs may differ between circle

As we mentioned, prices for the two Airtel free voice calling packs may vary in different circles. The company has added that customers in Kerala will avail the data benefits on 2G/4G networks.

Ajai Puri, Director – Market Operations (India & South Asia), Bharti Airtel said, “This is another initiative from us to bring innovative bundle offers to our customers in line with our endeavour to provide the great value backed by a superior network experience.”
Airtel is not the only telecom operator providing such benefits to compete with Reliance Jio. Aircel has also announced a new prepaid plan that makes voice calling free for three months.

Salto, A Jumping robot to assist in earthquake rescue efforts

An agile jumping robot developed by U.S. scientists who drew inspiration from one of the animal world’s best leapers could one day help in rescue efforts after earthquakes or building collapses.

The robot can jump one metre in less than one second, according to the report in the journal Science Robotics.
Known as Salto, the 26-cm tall robot can leap higher than a bullfrog and almost as high as a galago, or bush baby, a small primate found in Africa. That’s better than a human but not the highest of any robot — other machines have been made that can jump more than three meters in a single leap.

But Salto does hold the crown in vertical-jumping agility, which researchers define as the ratio of the maximum jump height to the time it takes to complete one jump. “To have a high vertical-jumping agility, you have to be able to jump high and do it quickly,” explained Duncan Haldane, a researcher at the University of California, Berkeley, and lead author of the study.
According to co-author Justin Yin, “Salto can jump to a height of one metre in 0.58 seconds and be immediately ready to jump again.”
It also attains 78 percent of a galago’s vertical-jumping agility, said the report.
Salto, which stands for “saltatorial locomotion on terrain obstacles,” weighs just 100 grams.
The one-legged robot can jump from the floor, flip forward and then kick off a wall, reaching even greater heights.
Researchers hope it will aid rescuers by offering a service that can easily navigate rubble and tough terrain.
“Our goal was to have a search-and-rescue robot small enough to not disturb the rubble further, and to move quickly across the many kinds of rubble produced by collapsed buildings.”
The robot would not be powerful enough to pull a person out of a collapsed building, but can be equipped with sensors to tip off rescuers to the location of a trapped person. — AFP

IIT Kharagpur scientists develop a tiny blood pH sensor

Researchers at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur have successfully developed a small device to measure the pH of any solution, with preliminary studies showing its usefulness to measure the pH of blood. Unlike the conventional approach of measuring the pH of blood potentiometrically, the device works by measuring the impedance. The device was found to have satisfactory pH sensitivity in the physiological pH range.
In contrast to conventional arterial blood-sampling devices that are bulky as they use three electrodes and with time-consuming processes, the miniature device relies on venous blood sampling for pH measurement. The results were published in the journal RCS Advances.
The sensor has an aluminium electrode that is deposited on a glass substrate and made into two electrodes with a minimum gap by manually removing a small portion of aluminium around the midpoint of a long strip of aluminium film. “The electrodes are then coated with molybdenum disulphide nanoparticles and Nafion in a small region around the gap between the two electrodes. So only a small amount of analyte is required for pH measurement,” says Prof. Soumen Das from the School of Medical Science and Technology, IIT Kharagpur, who is the corresponding author of the paper.
The pH of a solution is a measure of the number of hydrogen ions produced or available in a solution; when the solution is acidic the pH will be less than 7 and the number of hydrogen ions will be more.
The Nafion layer that is coated on aluminium electrodes selectively allows the hydrogen ions to diffuse into the layer. This leads to an increase in the conductivity of the Nafion layer and a reduction in its impedance. “Because of the Nafion coating, the hydrogen ions become preferential mobile carrier ions. That’s why the conductivity increases when the pH reduces,” says Ranjan Mukherjee also from the School of Medical Science and Technology, IIT Kharagpur and a coauthor of the paper.
The sensitivity of the device improves when the electrodes are coated with molybdenum disulphide nanoparticles and then coated with Nafion. While the sensitivity of pH measurement for the electrodes when coated with only Nafion was 347 ohms per pH, it was as much as 6,193 ohms per pH when electrodes were coated with molybdenum disulphide nanoparticles and a Nafion layer.
Preliminary study using capillary blood showed that the estimated pH was close to that of the venous blood pH. For example, the pH of venous blood was 7.39 when measured using blood gas analyser and 7.38 when measured using the device developed by the researchers. So the device can be developed for use as a point of care device for measuring the pH of blood.
The device was able to detect the pH of the blood in 10 seconds which is far better than commercial blood pH sensors where the response time is 30-40 seconds. The time taken to measure the blood pH is lesser than the time taken for the blood to clot.
Hence, there is no need to use heparin (an anti-coagulant drug) when the tiny device is used for measuring the pH of blood, thus avoiding any errors associated with the use of heparin.
“As it is a new approach we need to carry out more tests to validate the device. This is a proof-of-concept study,” says Prof. Das.

New mobile with unlimited voice calls and 4G with just Rs 1000

Reliance’s Jio Lyf phones have been in the smartphone space in India for quite some time. The company has since been actively looking to tap the rural and tier-III markets for its data services and mobile business. According to a report by Economic Times, Jio may soon launch a series of feature phones with 4G VoLTE in a bid to attract millions of users to its telecom venture Reliance Jio Infocomm.
There will be two feature phones, according to reports, priced at Rs 1,000 and Rs 1,500.
Pricing for these devices could be as low as Rs 1,000 and will come bundled with unlimited voice and video calling, alongside digital content. Jio is the only telecom company which is offering Voice-over-LTE to make calls, has added over 25 million subscribers in the shortest time starting from September 5 to reaching their target of 100 million — equivalent to about 38 per cent of the telecom market leader Bharti Airtel’s 260 million subscribers in the country.
The 4G telco is working with domestic handset maker Lava International and Chinese OEMs to manufacture these feature phones. Jio is said to be subsidising a part of the selling price to make the 4G feature phones at Rs 1,000. The initial batch of feature phone could have branding from Jio and Lava and will be sold through their respective retail channels to reach a larger audience.
There will be two feature phones, according to reports, priced at Rs 1,000 and Rs 1,500. Reliance is planning to release these phones in the first quarter of 2017. Although these are feature phones, which mean there is no touchscreen, they will be able to run 4G data and will be capable of accessing internet.
As of now, one of the cheapest 4G phones on sale in India is priced around Rs 3,000. With the launch of feature phones, Reliance Jio will be able to offer the affordability of a feature phone with 4G VoLTE technology along with free voice calls.
According to IDC’s Q3 report on the Indian Smartphone market, “The 4G smartphone shipments grew 24.8 per cent over previous quarter in CY Q3 2016. Rollout of Reliance Jio network has further increased the share of 4G enabled smartphone in India. 7 out of 10 smartphones shipped in Q3 2016 were 4G enabled and 9 out of 10 smartphones sold by ecommerce websites were 4G.”
Reliance Jio is on the fifth position in the Indian smartphone market with a total of 7 per cent, which means an approximate 20 per cent growth over previous quarters. These numbers are supposed to grow in the future, when Reliance Jio commercially launches its 4G services along with other new services.
Reliance Industries may soon launch feature phones with VOLTE support in India. The move is aimed at introducing a new category of mobile devices in India and at the same time increasing Reliance Jio’s user base by targeting users from tier-2 and tier-3 towns, who use cellphones primarily for making calls. The move also targets first-time data users.
The Economic Times quoted sources who stated that the new devices would be priced from Rs 1000 to Rs 15000 and will have unlimited voice and video calling. “Jio wants to tap all the segments in the country and sees huge potential in the rural areas, which it now aims to tap with VoLTE feature phones,” stated a source “The 2G feature phone is still a big market in India,” he added.
Today Reliance Jio is the only telecom major in India to offer VoLTE only network and has garnered over 25 million users since the launch of its services on September 5 2016. The company is now targeting 100 million subscribers by March 2017, and tapping customers who use feature phones is essential to achieve this target. Currently, VoLTE is offered on most smartphones.
“If Jio launches VoLTE feature phones at Rs 1,000, it can potentially shake up the market because the target audience in that segment may prefer to choose phones with free calling inbuilt,” Navkendar Singh, senior research manager with International Data Corp told ET.
Another source revealed that Reliance may launch two feature phones priced at Rs 1,000 and Rs 1,500 during the January-March 2017 period. The devices will work much like smartphones and will use data to make calls, the only difference being that feature phones do not have touchscreens.
The company is working with handset maker Lava International and some Chinese manufacturers to build the devices. According to ET, the company will subsidise some of the selling price to ensure that the 4G VOLTE feature phones will be available to the public at about Rs 1,000 (about $15). The cost of making the phones is about $25 and they are usually sold for about Rs 2,500.
Jio may also soon face competition for feature phone users. Chinese handset manufacturer Transsion, which sells feature phones in Africa under the Itel brand, has revealed its intentions for bringing 4G feature phones in India by April 2017. Sudhir Mathur, head of Itel India, stated “The platform for this technology is being tested and all the development is happening in China….We’re watching Reliance closely, for their model will shape our strategy.”
Jio’s VoLTE feature phones will run on Android operating systems and will sport a keypad and rear and front cameras. These devices will also come armed with Jio’s content applications such as Jio Chat, Live TV and video on demand and Jio Money Wallet, Jio’s digital wallet service. For VOLTE support, the devices will use chipsets that Jio may source from Chinese company Spreadtrum or from Qualcomm and Mediatek sources stated.
A few weeks back, we heard some rumors mentioning Reliance to launch feature phone with VoLTE support. Though there is very little information at that time, now we got some update. The device will be launched at just Rs. 999 and includes unlimited voice and video calls for a limited time. Since Jio works on VoLTE supported devices, it might not acquire more market share in the rural areas where not many of them will be using 4G smartphones. While the feature phone market is decreasing day by day, still it has a substantial market share in the emerging markets like India. Almost 65% of the mobile phone users in India still uses feature phones. By launching the affordable feature phone, the company might gain a little more market share that helps in reaching its 100 million subscriber mark by the time of commercial launch.
While there are some decent feature phones from Nokia and Samsung, they can only support 3G HSPA with which Jio 4G SIM will not be compatible. Even the pricing will be a key factor since not many will be purchasing a new phone just to use Jio 4G SIM. Reliance’s 4G smartphone brand, LYF also launched cheapest 4G smartphones priced at just Rs. 2,999. These devices can be a good alternative for the first time smartphone users who are restricted with a limited budget. This is also the time, most of the Indians will be shifting from feature phone to a smartphone and Jio’s basic Rs. 150 plan offers unlimited night data (2am – 5am), voice calls, and SMS. Now the same plans cannot be offered for feature phone users as most of them might never do a recharge of Rs.150 per month.
Apart from the Rs. 999 priced feature phone, the company might also bring one more device priced at Rs. 1,500 with upgraded specifications. Both these devices will be launched in early 2017 and offer browsing internet along with making voice and video calls. Lava and Chine based OEM will be manufacturing these devices and are said to cost Rs. 2,500 per unit. The same device will be subsidized by Jio to bring the selling price as low as Rs. 999. These phones will not be launched under LYF brand, instead, they will come with Jio and Lava branding. As we earlier mentioned, the device will be powered by Spreadtrum processors. Just like the regular smartphone, we can find the rear and front cameras. Instead of the touchscreen, the devices will be equipped with the keyboard though we are not sure whether there will be a T9 or QWERTY keyboard.
The Jio apps like Jio Wallet, Jio Play, and Jio Music will be pre-installed on the devices. All these details are yet to be confirmed by the company official, so take this with a pinch of salt until the official launch. If you are looking for affordable mobile phones that support Jio 4G SIM, take a look at the LYF Flame series smartphones that are currently retailing at just Rs. 2,999. These devices come with Jio Welcome Offer including unlimited 4G data (FUP@4GB), voice calls, and SMS. All the Jio suite of apps will be available for Jio users for free until December 2017.
